I'm a competition winning Master Saddler, with a total of 30 years working with leather. I pride myself on my attention to detail, which was fine tuned during the 3 years I spent working as a leather associate for Rolls Royce Motor Cars in West Sussex, U.K.

ABOUT ME
In all I have been working with leather for 30 years. The majority of that time has been spent as a traditional saddler. I officially became a Master Saddler in 2023.
​
I began my saddler journey back in 1996 in a small barn on Hickstead Showground, and now spend my time working with Hastilow and Sons Saddlery based in Haslemere, Surrey. I am proud to be part of a small business that produces award winning saddles.

During the course of my career, I have spent 3 years working for Rolls Royce Motor Cars as a sewing associate in the leathershop. This primarily involved machining the leather interiors for their cars - to very strict guidelines. This role really honed my eye for detail and precision.

Over the years of working with leather, I have made many belts for family and friends. I often get asked to make dog collars too, as well as other leatherwork. Thus, Saddlers Retreat was born in my garden workshop!
