OUR LEATHER
BELT & DOG COLLAR LEATHER

All of our luxury belts and dog collars are made from veg tanned and thick aniline leathers, sourced from U.K. suppliers.
The term "veg tanned" means that the leather has been tanned using vegetable based materials such as bark extracts from trees. This is a traditional method of tanning leather which is environmentally friendly and produces a beautiful natural look and feel. Veg tanned leather is known for its strength, durability, and for the patina it will develop in time with use. I have friends wearing belts made from this leather which are over 25 years old now, and still going strong!

The term "thick aniline" means that the leather has been treated with aniline dye. This is a type of transparent dye which allows the natural texture and grain of the leather to show through. In this context "thick" relates to the weight/thickness of the leather which will dictate what the leather is suitable to be used for.

2. Stevedore - pure aniline veg tan: Produced by A & A Crack A full grain leather that comes with plenty of strength, and obvious quality. Despite its weight, it offers a medium mellow handle that makes it a versatile choice of leather. This leather is usually 3.6-3.8mm thick.
